What Is The Difference Between Wanting And Willing To Change?
“I want to make more money in 2016.”
This is a common statement we hear this time of year. I think most of us baby boomers want to make more money, and we probably have a need to make more money. Making more money is also not enough to drive you. There has to be a vision for what you truly want in life.
That is a key part of wanting something. You should have a need, but what else?
Well along with a need you should have a desire for your need. When it comes to making more money the desire is there for most of us baby boomers as well.
Or is it?

Your desire has to be strong enough to get us to do things we may not be comfortable doing.
This is where being willing to change comes into play.
Are you willing to do whatever it takes to make the necessary changes to accomplish what it is you want?
This requires action on your part. Along with that comes putting in the time it is going to take.
Let’s say you are willing to start an online home based business as a way to make more money. When you first get started you may not know exactly what it is going to take to get your business off of the ground and eventually becoming profitable.
I will tell you this. It will take patience on your part as you get started and begin to do what it takes to make money online.
Why?
Unless you are lucky, you are probably not going to be making money right away. It takes skills and a lot of hard work to get an Internet home business off the ground
I can tell you from personal experience that just learning the skills it takes to do marketing on the Internet is not a 1 day, 1 week, or even 1 month commitment.
This is the biggest reason people give up. They want to make more money, but when you get right down to it they are not willing to learn the skills it takes and then put in the effort after that.
Those that are willing to do whatever it takes will combine their knowledge with effort and they develop an I will do whatever it takes attitude. At this point their need has become more then a want to them.
When you get to that point I congratulate you because I know you will be joining me as a successful online home based business owner!

Hi Lynda! This post is great! It is good to acknowledge that it will take more than just wanting something and setting the goal to become successful.
Thanks so much Edna. I appreciate it. Yes, we have to be willing to do whats necessary to get what we want in life.
This is a very educative post Lynda, I agree with point you are making here. we must turn our wants and desire into our willingness to change. its like planting a seed and nurturing it until it bears fruit. our willingness to learn and change will bear fruit once we consistent do what we have learned. Thanks Lynda for this valuable post and video too.
What a lovely way to describe it Kenny. Thank you very much for commenting.
Wanting without action and that thing remains a fantasy, a wish. ACTION BABY! That’s where it’s at!

Wanting to change and being willing to change, are not the same. There is a huge difference between these two aspects of the amendment. I think almost every individual wants to make the modification for their betterment. However, only a few take the measures willingly to make that change happen. Sometimes, wanting can lead to whining. But your willingness can’t. It always makes us confused when approaching towards uncovering the difference between these two facets. But once you make it possible, you can make the worth-taking alternations Thanks- Lynda, for those lovely heads.
Thanks for your comments, I appreciate anyone taking the time and trouble.
