Survival Tips To Stop You Going Crazy

Survival Tips To Stop You Going CrazySurvival Tips To Stop You Going Crazy

Survival tips I am sharing today are for those familiar, busy times. Those crazy busy times when you are running around like a headless chicken.

You might be in a job, running a business, have family commitments and we all know what its like.

Quite often we feel overwhelmed, worried how we are going to fit it all in and keep those around us happy.

We keep being told to look after ourselves but when everything is coming at once that’s not so easy to do. Things can get out of hand and the constant juggling gets too much.

I want to share some survival tips to help you out but before I do know this…. you aren’t alone. Anyone who says they never experience this are telling us a little white fib or two.

Survival Tips

 Get Planning

Yep. Try to plan ahead. If you know a busy time is coming up begin planning before it gets here. I am traveling for the next two weeks so I have planned my blog content ahead of time, for instance.

If you have a family occasion coming up, a holiday, vacation or anything else, and you have a business to run, put things in place long before you go.Survival Tips To Stop You Going Crazy

Have a stock of birthday cards in the cupboard for those family birthdays and stop running out to the shops at the last minute to get one.

If you work online, plan your social media content well ahead. Pick out some images and status updates and put them in your note pad ready. That way you’re not thinking- “What shall I post about today?”

Plan your day. Prioritise what needs doing first.

Learn To Say NO

Say NoSaying no is a big tip. It’s ok to say no to people. It could be a new business venture, a new tool, a new client, an event etc.

Your state of mind and emotional well being is much more important than trying to please everyone.

Re-evaluate your goals and feelings before saying yes to anything next. Take time to think about it before rushing in and ask yourself some questions.

Will this help my life and me?

Does this serve my business or me?

What’s the worst thing that can happen if I say NO?

Do One Thing At A Time

Ok, we women are known to be great at multi-tasking. After all, we brag about it all the time.

To be honest though, multi-tasking is not always good for us or productive.priorities

It’s much better to focus on one thing at a time.

Make a to do list and tick them off when you have completed them.   You might be distracted and not stick to it but if you discipline yourself you will do it and see the benefits.

Simple survival tips but necessary to take care of YOU.  We all have crazy times when we feel like our heads are exploding we have that much to do.  A small amount of simple planning is all it takes to make you feel more organised and well.
