Should You Outsource Your Blog?
Outsource – This is not a swear word and many people who work online outsource some work in one way or another.
As you can see here on my blog I spend a lot of time trying to provide high quality content in a visually appealing way. I put an emphasis on the words, but I also take the time to add graphics, pictures, videos, and so on.
For me I enjoy it, so it never seems like work.
How about you?
What if you understand the importance of blogging, but cannot seem to get into it?
There is a solution and it is called outsourcing. For some people this is the perfect way to brand and promote their online business.
Let me offer a couple of tips if you are thinking about branding, blogging and outsourcing.
Freelance Writers – Should You Outsource?
If you choose to do this, in my opinion, you are better off to deal directly with 1 or 2 freelance writers as opposed to getting content from a writing site.
The primary advantage to this is you can control the quality of the articles better. You do not always know what you are getting when you pay for articles from a content mill.
One other key point is when you work with a freelance writer you get to know them and they begin to understand your blogging goals. You will also come to trust them and vice versa. They may even know what you want for blog posts better then you do!
Stay Involved When You Outsource
Even if you are outsourcing your content creation you should still stay involved as much as you possibly can with your blog.
One thing you might do is outsource the writing and you actually do the publishing.
This is not something you need to be intimidated by. Publishing a blog article is as simple as pasting in what your freelance writer has sent you and hitting the publish button.
Actually you may want to get a little fancier than that. Adding graphics to a blog post is an excellent way to liven your blog up little bit and this doesn’t take any technical skills either.
Another way to stay involved is with content ideas.
Create a little swipe file yourself and put future article ideas in it. Then you can just send those over to your freelance writer with any instructions on how you want the article written.
Summary
When you combine freelance writers with a little bit of involvement on your part, you will find maintaining your blog on a consistent basis is easy to do.
There’s very little stress when you do it this way, and you can still reap the benefits of blogging for branding, credibility, and income.

Great post Lynda. I must admit I have thought about it but just can’t let go of writing my own content yet… thanks for sharing..
I totally understand that Keith. The majority of content I post is my own. I know people who compile everything they want and then give it to someone to write it for them. Either way, as long as it has your personality and contains what you want thats the key thing. No one can do videos for you though, which is a good thing.
I enjoy writing but I know not everyone does.
