Make An Ebook: How to Easily Create a PDF eBook That Rocks.

November 4, 2014 by Lynda Kenny 2 Comments

Perhaps you have been having an idea to make an e-book on your favorite subject but don’t know where to begin.

Well, after a bit of research (and making an e-book of my own), I came up with a number of steps that you can follow and have an e-book in no time at all.

I don’t  make any promises that this will be easy but as long as you are focused and willing to work on it, you will definitely succeed.

For this procedure, I will be following a number of steps in order to end up with our complete e-book.  So lets get started.E-Book_Libri_1

First of all, you need to come up with a subject for the e-book you are planning to make. In case you intend to use the e-book as a means to growing your email subscriber list, you need to select a subject that people really want to read about.  This is usually the information they are looking for when they come to your site or blog.  One area where most people make a mistake when picking a subject is going too broad. Do not try to solve everything in a single e-book. Focus on a single area and once you are successful with your first e-book, you can always come up with another e-book for a different problem.  Alternatively, you can create an e-book that is made up of your previous articles.

Next, create an outline for the e-book. The outline is a summary of the things that you will focus on with the book. This gives you an opportunity to get your creative juices flowing and create a coherent flow for your book. This way, you get to provide valuable content, show that you know what you are talking about and stick to the point.

Once you have come up with the outline for your new book, you need to choose a title for it.

The title is the part of the book that makes people want to read what is inside. A compelling e-book title can show results and benefits, address a concern or focus on eliminating pain.

Now it is time to write the e-book.

You can break up the book by using headings, bullet points and sub-headings. This way, the book will be more readable. Graphics are also a good addition to have in the book since it increases reader engagement.

Once you are done writing the book, you can add some formatting to make it easy to read.

You can use different fonts and colors to compel readers to want to read the book.

A cover for the book also matters a lot to its success. You can also prepare a number of graphics for advertising the book.

In case you do not have the necessary graphics design skills, there are a number of places you can hire a graphics designer to do it for you at a fee, at places like Odesk, Fivver or Elance, for example.

As simple as that and you can have an e-book ready to sell or give away or some other purposes you have for it.

I hope you enjoyed reading this and in case you have been thinking of writing your own e-book, now is the time.  You can use it to build your list and give it away for free.  Or, you can sell it, if you want to,  on Amazon.  You can use it as a bonus to give away.  The possibilities are there for you to do as you wish.

To your Success.

I made some good money with an ebook I wrote years ago. It was a computer tips book and I just got tired of having to rewrite it every time Microsoft came out with a new operating system so I dropped it. I keep thinking I will do it again. It is so much easier now. But there just are not enough hours in the day, right??
