Linkedin – A Powerful Contact Tool.

July 11, 2015 by Lynda Kenny

You Don't Have To Be A Travel Agent To Make Money Like OneLinkedin – A Powerful Contact Tool.

Linkedin is different to Facebook , it caters more to business users as opposed to a social/chat site. It is a great place to meet other professionals and network , share ideas, mastermind and just get to know what other people are up to, especially those in the same profession as yourself.

You can meet so many people on linkedin , making lots of new connections and you get the opportunity to write a really good profile and sell yourself to anyone who is looking.

In addition there are many groups that have a various purpose. So if your interest is in sport, travel, gardening or technical things etc you will find a group to suit you.

If you are a Network Marketer  you will enjoy meeting fellow entrepreneurs on LinkedIn.  When you write a blog post you can   share it on the Linkedin site so other people get to see it and you get the chance to see other peoples blogs too.

It beneficial to join groups on Linkedin and post in those as well.

Groups are also a good place to begin building some relationships and observing what struggles people may be having right now so you can be ready to try and help provide some solutions to help them out.

Your Profile on Linkedin

Your profile on Linkedin is vital.  This is where you can really sell yourself and let people know what exactly it is that you do.

Make sure you include your title and a good photograph and be clear about how you can help other people.  This is my own profile if you want to take a look at what I have done on mine.  ACCESS  Linkedin Profile here

Having the wrong information will deter people from visiting you again so make sure you include whats needed here.

According to Linkedin:-

“Each action you take helps to make you more discoverable to the hundreds of millions of professionals on and off of LinkedIn,”

Linkedin encourages you to break up your profile makeover into a set of smaller jobs.

“Adding a profile photo, a compelling headline, a summary of 40 words or more, filling out your experience section and adding your skills, are great places to start,” the company says.

If you are new to Linkedin and haven’t got an account there then go to this link to set up your account https://www.linkedin.com
