My colleagues discovered I loved Tigers and since then, they call me Tiger Spice! Well its beginning to stick with me and to be honest I quite like it. So it seems like this could become my slogan from now on.
Yesterday I did a video and I happened to mention my excitement at meeting Sir Cliff Richards. He was in the Algarve, raising money for charity and signing bottles of wine from his vineyard here. Once I knew he was there I just had to go – I mean – I have “grown up” with him, lol. Anyway, I thought I would put my picture on here today.
Sorry if you don’t like Cliff but I do and I have wanted to meet him for years.
For those that don’t know, he has been a famous singer in the UK forever!!
Summer Fun with my family
I did a video a week or so ago about having a life while having a business. It is so important that you conduct your business in such a way that you have the time to enjoy your family and your life.
If you plan and organise your time and arrange what you are doing daily then you can fit in your social life too. Make sure you have some tools to automate things for you so that even when you are not at home, your business is happily carrying on. For instance, I use a system called Social Oomph and I can put posts and tweets and blog articles in there and schedule when it is published. I have done it before I have gone out or gone to bed and the systems posts things for me as if I am there. It is such a better way than sat over your computer constantly.
If you are really organised you could write all your posts and blogs and schedule all of them to posted before you go on a holiday.
Did you know that on your Facebook Fan Page you can even time your posts from there? There is a little clock at the side of where you post and you can schedule when the post gets published.
It really is worthwhile picking up these little tips to get your business automated to give yourself the free time you want and need in your life. It has helped me, definitely while I have had a house full of visitors.
There is nothing better than working for yourself. I have done it for years and being your own boss is the most satisfying thing there is. It is hard work and you have to be 150% committed to making it work but if you do it then you will never work for anyone again.
Let me know if you found my “fun” blog ok today. I wanted it to be a bit lighter so you saw I am only human and I do have a life outside marketing and work.
See you all soon
