Do You Know What You Really Want?
Have you ever struggled when people say, “Have you got clarity in your life and in your business?”
When I was first asked this question, I didn’t even really know what clarity meant. (Don’t laugh)
Basically, it means are you clear about what you really want out of life?
What you really want?
Who you want to be?
What you want to be?
I want to let you know that it’s okay if you don’t know.
Are you clear about what you want in life?
Who you want to be?
What do you want to do?
Rest assured that it’s okay not to be that clear because things can change in your life.
Years ago when I left school, all I wanted to be was a nurse. I dreamt about it as a child and I did go into nursing as soon as I left school. All that had to change because I injured my back and I couldn’t carry on with a nursing career.
I decided at that point, I wanted to work in an office and so I thought yeah that’s what I’ll do. So I went to night school to train to be a typist and managed to get jobs in an office environment.
After I had my children that changed my perspective on life as well.
I thought what do I want to do?
I wanted to be a social worker,
I loved working with children and so I went to train to be a playgroup leader for a short while.
Later on, I went to University for training as a Social Worker.
I’m making the point that you might be at a stage in your life when you’re really clear on what you want and then you might be in a stage in your life where you’re not clear.
In my high-performance coaching, for instance, clarity is one of the very first sessions that we do because it is important.
It lets you unravel what’s going on inside and you really find out what it is deep down you want to do.
Are You Struggling With What You Want?
If you’re someone that’s struggling with your clarity right now?
I can help you in that area. Don’t beat yourself up if you’re not clear. Many people aren’t.
Once you are clear, it informs everything. It informs your messaging and it informs what you do.
If you’re on social media a lot, it helps you say the things you want to say to the audience you want to reach.
Your clarity is important. It’s a good feeling to know what you want in life and you’re working towards that.
Working towards achieving what you really want.
If you change your mind along the way, that’s okay as well because it’s all part of your journey of discovery.
