The Simple Secret To De-Stress
I recently did a video about self-esteem and confidence, and I wanted to do a follow on from that
Just so you know, I offer a 20-minute complementary call.
Take advantage of that and go to my calendar at CallWithLynda.com. Book an appointment with me.
Because whatever I have to share I can’t share it in a quick article like this.

I was talking about confidence and self-esteem, and also, coupled with that, is how you de-stress in life.
Let’s face it, there’s things that happen to us in life that cause us a lot of stress.
You might be worried about your children, you might be worried about your job, you might be worried your business is not as good as it could be.
You might be just one of these people that experiences anxiety and gets really stressed out.
What Can You Do To De-Stress?
You can go outside and just go for a walk to de-stress.
Spend time on your own with your own thoughts, it’s amazing how that stress will fall away.
Okay, it doesn’t take your problems away, but it helps you feel better and able to handle them in a better way.
Years ago I used to get anxiety just walking into a room, mainly because I used to think that people were talking about me. It’s only when I got older and a bit more wiser that I realised people have got better things to do than talk about me.
If you’ve ever felt like that, in any kind of situation where you don’t feel good enough, you don’t feel confident enough, and you also feel that people are whispering in corners about you. Know that it just doesn’t happen. It really doesn’t.
There might be the odd person that would do that, but generally people do not do that.
There are times, aren’t there, when you actually convince yourself these things that are happening.
So, next time you feel really stressed, go out for a walk and just sink into your own body and your own thoughts, walk around, and enjoy the nature around you.
I can’t tell you what a tonic it is.
We’ve been away for the weekend to a lovely place and we came home to where I’m surrounded by wildlife. I’m by the side of a lake.
