Choose A Niche According To A Passion Or Problem

Choose A Niche According To A Passion Or ProblemChoose A Niche According To A Passion Or Problem

Niche?  What does it mean?  Your niche is your target market.  The people you want to reach the most in all your marketing efforts.

Where do you begin and HOW do you choose?

Choosing Your Niche

Recently I had the benefit of watching some training by Mike Dillard and here are some of the suggestions he made.

Firstly, your decision should be based on your biggest passion or hobby.  OR your biggest pain or problem.

What is it that you the most passionate about?

Are You an expert in anything?

If not, what do you want to become an expert at?

How do you want to develop?

What transformation in your life do you wish for?

If you could change your life in any way, what would it be like?

If  just starting out being an entrepreneur in the home business arena, you might want to capitalise on any experience you might have gained from your job/career.    Is there an area of expertise that would help you?

Spend some time jotting down everything you can think of , using the questions above and begin to narrow it down.  Ray Higdon, my coach, advises you to consider the subject that you can’t stop thinking about.  Something you could talk about all day long.  Its a good place to begin.

What Next?Attraction marketing

Having narrowed your choice down, you then need to think about what makes you unique.

What would make you stand out above the crowd?  How would you impact people the most?

It would help if you took a look around other marketers and observe what makes them different to anyone else. After your observations you can decide what would make you different.

We are all unique and have qualities that will appeal to our chosen audience.  You will have an approach that will be unique to you.

Spend some time coming up with ideas for your special approach.  Choose 3-5 and spend some time jotting down your thoughts.  Doing this will really help you with creating your brand and your presence online.

There is plenty  to decide and work on, although it is an important part of your journey if you are choosing a home business one.

This is worth revisiting, especially if you are not getting the results you hoped for.

I hope todays post Choose A Niche According To A Passion Or Problem, has provided some benefit or value to you. If it did please feel free to leave me a comment below.
