Building Relationships And Why They Matter
Building relationships in ANY type of business is crucial for its growth. In my previous, offline business if we hadn’t built relationships with our customers and service users the company would not have grown in the way it did.
There were various threads to building relationships that mattered. Our company was a Fostering Agency, therefore we had to:
- Recruit and Train Foster Carers.
- We had to drum up business with Local Authorities so they would place children with us
- Recruit Staff to join our teams, including Social Workers, Teachers, Therapists etc.
When working within the people business, building relationships with others is crucial. This is no different when you are an entrepreneur running an online home business.
The Principles are the same.
Building Relationships In Network Marketing
In network marketing you have to prospect and recruit people to join you in your chosen company. The only way to do that is by building relationships with the people you meet.
To retain your team members, your relationship with them will matter in the longer term.
Giving value to others and sharing your knowledge will help you to build those relationships, even if they don’t agree to join you straight away.
Building Relationships With Your Subscribers
Once you begin building an email list, its important to keep in touch with them, sharing your value. Sometimes it might feel its a waste of time. I can assure you that it isn’t. You build relationships here with your loyal subscribers by sharing information and helping them to get to know you.
I often look at my open rates and see who has clicked on any links I have sent out. Many people don’t bother to open emails or click any links. However, many do as well and when you get positive feedback it makes it all worth the while. Look at this feedback I got, only today.
I know I am just someone on your mailing list but you have such a unique way of connecting to people in an amazing and personal way. I feel I have known you for years yet I don’t know you at all. This is how I would very much like to be. So many people send what I call blah blah blah emails that don’t even connect. I would probably have given up on this already if I hadn’t connected to you. Thank you again. I know from the way you connect to people that you are absolutely the person you are.
Very kind regards. Good day to you.

Most people believe that just being yourself is so hard to do, so this is why they are always trying to be like someone else. I believe that just being yourself is very easy, and so very rewarding . I wish others would borrow my belief. Great Post Lynda!!
I think sometimes people want to be like someone they admire and almost become them or try. Then they lose who they are along the way. It takes confidence and belief in yourself to truly be who you are. Once that happens magic appears. Thanks so much Gary.
Really enjoyed your post today especially loved when you shared that testimony yesterday because its so true so many times you think who’s reading my email then bam you get a testimony that proves someone is.
The reply came out of the blue and yes, bam, it proved people do read and take in your emails. Thanks Lynette, glad you enjoyed the post
