Blogging has changed a lot over the years, yet in some ways the core principle of blogging has not changed that much.
If you have an MLM business, blogging can be one of your best business tools if you do it correctly.
How do you mix MLM and blogging in the right way?
Think of it as MLM blogging!
Blogging is a mixture of what is happening in your personal and business life and what is happening online.
You can think of it like reality television online – your very own news channel!
The most interesting MLM blog stories combine personal experiences with network marketing education and Internet marketing tips.
It is a tremendous tool for showing people what to do, how to do it, and making it available to your prospects as well as your current MLM team!
Blogging let’s you speak to people in various ways including text and video. You can add photos, product descriptions, and comments from other people. Often known as social networking, you see it all of the time with Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and other social sites like Instagram.“Blogging is good for your career. A well-executed blog sets you apart as an expert in your field.” Penelope Trunk #blogging Click To Tweet
Blogging has been around since early 1997
Blogs took off in popularity when automated publishing systems were introduced – ie. Blogger at blogger.com, which is still owned today by Google.
This is a free way to start a blog, however, I suggest taking a more professional approach and buying a domain name, setting up website hosting, and using a WordPress theme like you see here on my blog.
It belongs to you and can’t be shut down like your Facebook account could. You can write what you want, when you want and about what you want, anytime.
Understanding the history of blogging is helpful because you can see what was working almost from the beginning and how that still translates well today. For example, original blogs were more of a diary, but were still link-driven.
Today blogging works well when you combine links with quality content that helps you establish personal connections with your readers. This is the key to having a successful MLM marketing blog.
Look for interesting links you can add to your blog content and create helpful content in the form of text, video, audio, and pictures.
There are many places you can learn about blogging. I learned from one of the best in Ray Higdon.
Ray has devised the 3 Minute Expert course, which is the best course I have seen on blogging
Ray Higdon is a well known Coach and Marketer who credits his success to blogging. I know because he coaches me.
The course is packed with videos that will help you at every single stage of your blogging journey.
There are modules which take you through every step you need to know.
What makes this course even more credible is that it was designed and created by someone who has reached the heights of success through blogging.
It has been updated recently so it is up to date with what you need.
Even though I have been using a blog for around four years now, I have learned a good deal more by taking this course myself and I have been able to make improvements.
Its also beneficial to have a resource at your finger tips where you can get the information you need at any given time. You can access details of this course by clicking the image below.
It has has become a main strategy for me and many other marketers and a more passive approach to marketing.
The long term benefits are massive for you, your brand.
Its the best way to build your list of potential prospects for your MLM.
In fact, the whole purpose of your blog is to build your list.
