Make sure your Social Media Profiles are up to date. Your Facebook Page, Linkedin, Twitter or other Social Media accounts may be the very first place someone has got to know who you are. Impress them on their first visit. Fill in the about section and put in your website links, with a description of what you do.
On your Facebook Personal profile, make sure you list that you have a Fan page/Business Page. If you don’t do this they won’t know you are in business. Below is how I do it on my profile. You can word it how you want. What is important is that you LEAD people to your page.
Think about turning your blog posts into an ebook. Choose a few blog posts with a similar theme, add an introduction, a conclusion and design a cover. Voila…. you have got an ebook and something to use in your lead generation
Write down 3 – 5 ways you serve your ideal clients/customers/audience. What are some of the most commonly asked questions? Where are their pain points? This information will help you in content creation and your social media strategy for reaching the people you want to reach
Build your list. We all have to have someone to market to. Begin collecting emails on your website/blog where people can sign up for information from you. Spend some time coming up with ideas for collecting email addresses.
Get yourself on YouTube. Youtube gets a lot of traffic. Create short videos (2-3 mins) and share it on youtube. Show people how to do something. Provide tips. Think about what your ideal person wants to hear. Put the video on your blog and upload to Facebook and other social media platforms.
Have a blog. Its a great way to create your brand and get your message out there. You also own your own blog. Post 2-3 times a week to your audience. Ask for testimonials and use them on Social Media or on your blog. Video testimonials from clients/ customers/teammates are a good endorsement of you
There are many ways you can use one piece of information. You can break it down into blog posts, social media posts, videos and podcasts etc. Think about how you can use the information you already have and how you can come up with different ways to use it.
Make a list of why people would want to work with you. Write down why people love to work with you. What are your strengths? How do you benefit other people?
